Hundreds of overseas visitors, many new to Barbados, will enjoy a spectacular welcome to the island when the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) hosts the Welcome Party for BCIC Rally Barbados 2026 (May 29-31) in Charles Fort at the Hilton Barbados Resort, the Club’s new Official Accommodation Partner.
Ahead of the Welcome Party, the BCIC RB26 Briefing Meeting will be hosted in the Needham’s Ballroom, while the resort has also offered preferential rates on room categories to visitors linked to the event as a component of this new partnership.
Shirley Garnes, Acting General Manager of Hilton Barbados Resort said: “We are thrilled to be the official accommodation sponsor of the 2026 BCIC Rally Barbados. This iconic event represents the energy, excitement, and international appeal of Barbados motorsport, and we are proud to welcome rally participants and supporters to Hilton Barbados for an unforgettable experience.”
The Briefing Meeting will include a formal introduction to key officials, a briefing on key aspects of the event and confirmation of the running order. With another record entry, this will involve more than 200 drivers and co-drivers, who immediately after the meeting will be joined by family, friends and supporters at the Welcome Party in the 17th Century Charles Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the hotel grounds.
BCIC RB26 Event Director Neil Barnard said: “We are so pleased to be working with the Hilton Barbados Resort. The hotel’s Needham’s Point location is truly iconic and their conference facilities are world class”.
BCIC Rally Barbados (May 29-31, 2026) is a tarmac rally with around 20 special stages run on the island’s intricate network of public roads, under road closure orders granted by the Ministry of Transport, Works & Water Resources; First Citizens King of the Hill (May 24), run under a similar arrangement, features four timed runs on a roughly four-kilometre stage, with the results used to seed the running order for the main event.
